As some of my friends might know, I will be flying to Miri in October. Too add some spice into my trip, I'll be flying to Mulu as well to roam the famous caves there. Apparently the caves are big enough to fit several jumbo jets. Plus from what I've heard, there are more than a million bats flying in and out everyday. A million bats... I'm gonna bring my trustee umbrella. I do not fancy myself being covered in bat dung.
Flying from Miri to Mulu ain't cheap, costing almost as much as the trip from KL to Miri. Anyway, since I'm already in Sarawak, might as well catch a flight to Mulu. This whole trip will drain my wallet dry. With the same amount, I could probably fly to Hong Kong and spend a week there (assuming I stay in a cheap bacpacker's lodge of course). But hey, shouldn't a Malaysian visit his own country before others?
I'll be flying with a good ol' friend of mine, Danny. He is a native Mirian, and I'm gonna bug him to show me where I can procure alcohol and drink myself till I fall drunk in the middle of the road.
